Spring is upon us!
Well, it's almost spring again! Right now, the kids and I are on spring break. I LOVE being at home!!!! Of course, I have done nothing FUN...just cleaning house. Tyler's baseball season has started. He is playing for the Orange Crush from Memphis. He has played two tournaments already, and they won 2nd place in the second one. He is looking really good...hitting the ball like crazy and making some really good catches in left field. I guess that $200 glove was worth it! haha
Brittany just got through with cheerleader tryouts, and I'm proud to say that she will be a Lee Academy jr. high cheerleader again. Tryout week is so nerve-racking, though. It made me literally sick! I'm so glad it's over!!!! Oh, and my baby girl turned 13 on Feb. 15. She is officially a teenager! AHHHHH.... Several parents who also had kids turning 13 got together, and we gave a Mardi Gras party for the kids. It was a fun night of dancing, talking, and eating.
Since I last posted, not much has been going on. Shannon has been getting Tyler to baseball practice twice a week. Brittany practiced cheer once a week. We all had the flu, and it was ROUGH!!!! Tyler played pee-wee basketball at Lee. They won all of their games! He had a good time!!!! We lost a dear friend, Bret Howard, and that was a really sad time. That pretty much sums up the last few months. Maybe the spring and summer will be A LOT better!!!!
