Spring is here!

It has been way too long since I have updated my blog. There has been sooo much going on that I honestly haven't had time. Brittany had her 12th birthday on February 15. Shannon and I took her and a couple of girls to Memphis to eat, shop, and make bath stuff at the Bath Junkie. It was a fun day. Also, there were the grueling weeks of preparing for cheerleader tryouts. Needless to say, it was all worth it. Brittany is now a Lee Academy junior high cheerleader. We are so proud of her. She is also running track and has had two meets so far. Today's track meet was not very fun in the very windy cold weather. But, we are home now, so maybe the next one will be warmer. Tyler's baseball team has been drafted, and he will start practice on Monday. He and Jacob, his best friend, are FINALLY on the same team, and Shannon is their coach. The boys are very excited about that. Brittany's softball team draft will be this week.

We also had a wonderful spring break. We went to Gatlinburg, TN with my parents and my brother's family. We had a snow tubing, ice skating, bull riding, sight-seeing, picture-taking good time. I'll post some pics so you can see what fun we had. What a fantastic way to start off the spring!
