We're engaged!!!!

I'm happy to say that Shannon and I are gonna tie the knot....again! This time it will be for good. God works in mysterious ways, but He always works for OUR good. HE IS GOOD! I'm happy, Shannon is happy, and the kids are over the moon with excitement! For those of you who don't know, Shannon and I have actually been back together for over a year. We began dating our sophomore year in college. We were married in 1995 and were married for 8 years and had two beautiful children who are the joys of our lives. However, we both made mistakes and our marriage ended. It was devastating to both of us as well as the children. We divorced in 2003, and we have both dated others and had some serious relationships. Although we argued about "trivial" things occasionally, we always remained friends.

I fell in love with Clint Davis, and I wanted to be with him forever. I lost him to suicide in September of 2007, and the first person that came to comfort me was my dear Shannon. I don't think I will ever be able to thank him enough for sticking by me through my loss and putting up with me for a year during my grieving process. He has been my rock. Shannon has been the most understanding man a woman could ever ask for. I am so thankful for him. I KNOW how hard it was for him, but he understood how hard it was for me! Like I said, God is good! Now I know that Shannon is the one I was supposed to be with FOREVER. I'll always hold Clint in my heart, and I'll never forget him. But, Shannon is my love! I'm a lucky, lucky woman!!!!
