Every year at Lee Academy, the entire elementary puts on a Christmas program. The fifth grade class (the oldest group in the elementary) is given the parts for the play. Tyler was given the part of Sheriff Badge, the sheriff of a town that is going kind of wild because they heard that a king was coming to town. The people are not sure which king....Elvis, King Tut, or the King of the Jungle.

We went to spend the week on the coast with Shannon's parents. We spent some time on the beach, at the waterpark, and a fun day of shopping and delcious eating in New Orleans. Shannon and I took a rafting trip down the Spring River in Hardy, AR with Brian, April, Aimee, Chuck, and Deb. It was a wild ride, but we had a lot of fun! Needless to say, that place has changed a lot since the last time we went (over 10 years ago). But, we survived!!!

Brittany and Morgan went to tumbling class in Oxford every Tuesday for 6 weeks this summer. Monica and Zach were their instructors. They are former Ole Miss cheerleaders, and they were wonderful! Britt and Morgan were in the Level 4 class, and both of them have really improved on their tumbling. Go girls!!!

Tyler has had so much fun playing pee wee football this year. He has learned so much, and he works really hard at it...just like everything else he does. My mom, my brothers and their families, and me and my crew planned a Hawaiin Luau surprise party for my daddy. The food was delicious. The cake was beautiful. We are enjoying our summer so far. Softball season is over for Brittany. Her team finished 2nd place for the season, and we also got 2nd place in the final tournament. Brittany was chosen for the All Star team, and we are so proud of her. The team is not going to play in any tournaments, though. They were just recognized, but we are glad to be finished with ball. This has been a very busy, but absolutely wonderful Christmas. From church programs, school programs, parties, making pictures for Christmas cards, and Christmas itself...the Holland clan has been very busy!!! It is a wonderful time of year, though! Spending time with family is the greatest part of Christmastime. I enjoyed being with my parents and brothers and their families on Christmas Eve.
